Introduction
Oracle Integration Cloud is a cloud-based tool. OIC is used to integrate on-prem applications with SaaS products or with different other cloud apps. It's a lightweight integration solution. After integration of the application, you can monitor the running status, and statistics for each integration.
Install OIC Instance
Log in to Oracle Cloud tenancy. Select the right compartments.
OCI Console > Click on Action
Menu
Provide the Display Name, Edition, Licence Type, and Message Pack.
The advanced option will allow adding the tags.
Now click on Create.
Integration Instance
In the same compartment, the newly created instance will show.
The page will have the Service Console URL and many other important details.
OIC Console
Click on the service console to open the OIC instance.
Click on the Action menu and a list of options pops out.
Now, from here you can manage who can access the OIC instance. ADMIN will have complete access to the integration instance. ADMIN can create a service account and provide service developer access to the development team.
These service accounts will be used to create the AGENTS. We will cover AGENTs in OIC in another blog.
