EBS 12.2 adopmon Utility - New adop monitoring features

Starting from EBS 12.2.5 oracle introduced a new adop feature to monitor the adop online patching cycle. adopmon is Online Patching Monitoring Tool. It provides the overall patching progress of adop cycle. This utility prints the log statements of an adop cycle.

This utility is very useful to monitor any adop cycle as it provides detailed message texts, timestamps on one screen. Using adopmon we need not to toggle between various adop logs.

We can execute adopmon utility after setting the environment variables. adopmon updates as the adop cycle progresses.

1. Source the RFS.

 

2. Run adop cycle 

    Running adop phase=fs_clone ( in this example )

2. Run adopmon to monitor the adop cycle
