Usually log files are located under the following directory (unless it was changed in the context file):
Apache and Jserv log files:
$APACHE_TOP/Apache/log
$APACHE_TOP/Jserv/log
$APACHE_TOP/Jserv/log/jvm
Concurrent Manager Log files:
$APPLCSF/$APPLLOG
Concurrent Requests Log/Output files:
$APPLCSF/$APPLLOG and $APPLCSF/$APPLOUT respectively.
Patches and AD utilities Log files:
$APPL_TOP/admin/$CONTEXT_NAME/log
Application Startup/Shutdown scripts:
$COMMON_TOP/admin/log/$CONTEXT_NAME
Database Log file:
Check the value of background_dump_dest initialization parameter (alert_<SID>.log file).
Users Trace files:
Check the value of user_dump_dest initialization parameter
Database Listener Log file:
Check the value of LOG_DIRECTORY_LISTENER in the listener.ora file (LOG_FILE_<LISTENER>).
